### Duleep Trophy 2024-25: Match Report

In the fourth match of the Duleep Trophy held from September 12 to 15, 2024, in Anantapur, Ishan Kishan made a striking comeback to first-class cricket with an impressive century. Playing for India C against India D, Kishan scored 111 runs off just 126 balls, marking his return to the red-ball format since his Test debut in July 2023.

The bowling side, India D, saw Mukesh Kumar taking three wickets, while Navdeep Saini and Rahul Chahar managed to claim one each. Despite their efforts, the day largely belonged to the batsmen, particularly Kishan and Indrajith.

Additionally, India C’s captain, Ruturaj Gaikwad, after an initial setback due to an ankle injury in the opening over, made a commendable return late in the day. He resumed his innings post the dismissal of Indrajith and managed to add 42 runs, remaining unbeaten at 46 by the end of the day’s play.

Other notable performances came from B Sai Sudharsan and Rajat Patidar, who made 43 and 40 respectively but failed to convert their starts into bigger scores.
